The 14 in. is the trench machine. A 21 x 14 in. plate drops into a standard utility trench, works alongside a foundation, and gets between forms where the 16 and 20 in. machines simply will not go. It is also the lightest of the three at 154 lbs dry, which matters when it has to come off a truck by hand every morning.
It delivers 2,248 lbs of centrifugal force and runs the fastest vibration frequency in the forward-plate range — 95 Hz against the 90 Hz of its bigger siblings. Higher frequency with lower amplitude is the right combination for thinner lifts and paver bedding, where too much force just displaces material instead of compacting it.
Travel speed is 82 ft/min, the quickest in the family. The wheel kit, water tank and polyurethane pad are all included.
