Thirty-seven tons is the top of BravePro's splitter line, and it is aimed at the people who split for money — firewood producers, tree crews clearing what they drop, and rental fleets that need a machine to survive being handed to strangers every weekend. It splits green, knotty, frozen rounds that stall a 20-ton machine, and it works horizontally or vertically so a round too heavy to lift never has to be lifted.
The frame is industrial I-beam. The cylinder is 5 inches by 24 inches with a 2-inch rod running at 3,500 PSI off a 16 GPM two-stage pump — a 14-second cycle. The wedge is 8 inches of high carbon steel.
What is easy to miss is the hydraulic filtration: four stages — suction strainer, breather cap air filter, return line filter and magnetic drain plug. Contaminated oil is what actually kills splitters, and most machines at this price have one filter, not four. The log cradle catches split halves and doubles as a work table, the heavy-duty dislodger ejects rounds that stick on the wedge before they damage the valve, and a lift handle makes the horizontal-to-vertical change manageable for one person.
