The Edwards HAT8080 is a complete 60 ton hydraulic shop press package with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and an Edwards Portable Power Unit wired for 460V three-phase, so no ironworker is needed. Use it to press bearings, bend metal or straighten parts.
The rolling cylinder has a 12-1/4 in. stroke over a 39-1/4 x 42 in. work table. The press measures 48 x 54 x 86 in., and the package weighs 2,300 lb.
Programmable control
The PLC lets operators set up repeatable press actions, and its magnetic control box mounts anywhere on the press.
Ready to plug in
The included power unit connects with 20 ft quick-connect hoses, and an electric foot pedal with integrated jog control runs the ram.

What power does the HAT8080 need?
The included Edwards Portable Power Unit on this package is 460V three-phase. The same PLC package is also offered at 230V single-phase (HAT8060) and 230V 3-phase (HAT8070).
Do I need an Edwards ironworker to run it?
No. The press runs from either an Edwards Ironworker with the PowerLink System or a Portable Power Unit, and this package includes the power unit.
Is there a version without the PLC?
Yes. The HAT8030 is the 460V three-phase press and power unit package without the PLC.
What is the warranty?
1 year (Edwards); hydraulic components carry their manufacturer's warranty.
