The Edwards IW55-3P460 is a 55-ton hydraulic ironworker with four workstations. It runs on a 5 HP 460V three-phase motor drawing 7 amps.
The punch station is rated at 55 tons with a 7-1/2 in. throat. The machine shears flat bar up to 1/2 x 12 in. (3/8 x 14 in. or 3/4 x 4 in.), and cuts 4 x 4 x 1/4 in. angle. Round and square bar shear capacity is 7/8 in.
Interchangeable Open Station
The open workstation takes any of 11 interchangeable attachments, so the machine can be set up for the work at hand.
Built-In Safety and Control
Operator protection includes an integrated E-Stop with lock-out/tag-out and LED lighting with an open-style guard.
