JET J-8201K 14-Inch Metal/Wood Vertical Bandsaw, 1 HP, 115/230V 1Ph
The JET J-8201K is a 14-inch vertical bandsaw that cuts both metal and wood. A 1 HP motor on 115/230V single phase (prewired 115V) drives the blade through a clutch that selects either a direct pulley drive for wood at 3,300 SFPM or a reduction gearbox for metal at 39, 57, 78, 107, 142, 196 or 278 SFPM.
It has a 13-1/2 inch throat and 6 inches under the guide, or 12 inches with the optional riser block. The 14 x 14 inch table tilts 45 degrees right and 15 degrees left and sits 44 inches off the floor. It takes 93-1/2 inch blades from 1/8 to 3/4 inch wide.
Closed Stand and Miter Gauge
The saw comes on a closed stand with a standard miter gauge and a blade.
Dust Chute and Lockable Switch
A dust control chute connects to a shop vacuum or dust system, and the start/stop switch accepts a padlock.
