JET JDC-501 Cabinet Dust Collector for Metal, 490 CFM, 1.5 HP, 115/230V 1Ph
The JET JDC-501 is a cabinet dust collector built for metal grinding and finishing dust. A 1.5 HP TEFC motor on 115/230V single phase (prewired 115V, cord and plug installed) drives an 11-inch steel impeller to move up to 490 CFM.
Two micro steel mesh filters capture 99% of 5-micron particles, and the impeller and housing are non-sparking steel. Dust and chips drop into a drawer that is emptied periodically.
Two Collection Ports
Two 3-inch ports, with 3-to-2-inch adaptors included, connect to grinders and finishing machines.
Mobile Cabinet
Four swivel casters let it roll to the machine, and a magnetic switch with a removable safety key controls it.

JET dust collector questions
Is it for metal dust?
Yes. It's built for metal grinding dust, with a non-sparking steel impeller and housing. JET warns never to mix ferrous and non-ferrous dust in the same collector.
Does it plug into a regular outlet?
Yes. It ships wired for 115V with a 6 ft. cord and plug; JET recommends a 20 A circuit.
How many machines can it connect to?
It has two 3-inch ports.
