A 23 kW generator that is less than a third the size of a comparable towable or skid unit. That is the whole argument. A towable has to park where a truck can get it; this goes inside, down a ramp, into a basement — where the equipment actually is, without bleeding voltage down a hundred feet of cable.
The dual-phase outlets run single phase and three phase off one machine at the same time. Floor grinders, welders, compressors — all from a single unit, no phase converter and no second rental.
It uses a radial flux alternator, which gives steadier output with fewer peaks and troughs and pulls about 15% more usable power out of the Briggs & Stratton Vanguard V-twin OHV than a conventional alternator would. RCD and RCBO protection on the outlets.
This is the 480V version. Most US job sites run 240V — if that is you, take the 240V model instead. Check the plate on your equipment before ordering; the voltage is not switchable.
