MechMaxx MSMB1250E 48" Magnetic Pan and Box Sheet Metal Brake
The MechMaxx MSMB1250E is an electromagnetic sheet metal brake with a 48 in. (1220 mm) bending width. It runs on 220V, 60 Hz single-phase power and clamps with 6 tonne of magnetic force.
It bends up to 16 gauge mild steel or aluminum and 20 gauge stainless steel. Because the clamp bar is held down by magnetism instead of mechanical fingers, there is no limit on box depth and you can form deep channels and fully closed sections.
Foot Pedal Clamping
Press and hold START to pre-clamp, then pull the handle and full clamping engages. The foot pedal leaves both hands on the work.
Clamp Bars Included
Solid, slotted and segmented clamp bars come with the machine, so you can set up boxes, returns and narrow flanges without tools.

What power does the MSMB1250E need?
220V, 60 Hz, single-phase (MechMaxx lists ±5%). MechMaxx lists a 12 A draw. It has a 30% duty cycle.
How thick a sheet can it bend?
Up to 16 gauge mild steel or aluminum, and up to 20 gauge stainless steel.
Is there a limit on box depth?
No. With no fingers in the way, MechMaxx lists no limit on box depth, and it can form deep channels and fully closed sections.
Is there anything to know about the magnet?
MechMaxx warns not to run it without material between the clamp bar and the bed, because residual magnetism can hold the bar down after release. People with pacemakers or medical implants should stay at least 12 in. (30 cm) away.
What is the warranty?
MechMaxx covers the MSMB1250E with a 1-year warranty on the machine and lifetime technical support by phone or email.
