The MechMaxx SM-36MAX is a portable band sawmill powered by a ZONSEN GB750 750cc 25 HP V-twin electric-start gas engine. It takes logs up to 36 in. in diameter, cuts boards up to 36 in. wide and 7 in. thick, and runs on a 20 ft track.

Power reaches the 19 in. cast iron bandwheels through a centrifugal clutch and belt. The 4-post head is set with a 23-position height handle, and the throttle and emergency stop sit on the push handle.

The cutting-height handle locks into 23 positions, so you can set a board thickness and repeat it cut after cut.

The throttle sits on the push handle, so you control cutting speed as you walk the head down the track. An emergency stop button is on the handle.
