We’re Here When You Need Us
The V 235 is OMGA's vertical double mitre saw, built specifically for V-cutting and picture frame work. The blades come up from below through the moulding, which is what lets it cut a clean mitre on delicate profiles without the tear-out a horizontal saw leaves on the exit side.
OMGA describe it as the result of thirty years in this field, and it carries their patented ProfilBlock clamping system — the mechanism that holds a shaped moulding by its profile rather than crushing it against a flat fence. On gilded, veneered or fine hardwood frame stock, that is the difference between a saleable frame and firewood.
Two 350 mm blades run at 3,200 RPM from a pair of 2 HP motors, cutting up to 3 9/16" wide and 3" high with mitre stops at 45°. It is a compact machine at 59" × 30" × 63", so it fits a framing shop rather than demanding a mill floor.
Three-phase power required. Available in 208V, 230V or 460V three phase only — there is no single-phase version. Select your voltage above before ordering; the machine is built to the voltage you choose and it cannot be changed afterward.
Key Features & Benefits
- Vertical Cutting Action – blades rise through the moulding, so the visible face is cut cleanly
- ProfilBlock Clamping – OMGA's patented system holds shaped profiles by their form, not by crushing them flat
- Purpose-Built for Frames – V-cutting and picture framing is what this machine is for, not a compromise setting on a general saw
- Two 350 mm Blades at 3,200 RPM – both mitres cut in one cycle
- Compact Footprint – 59" × 30" × 63", sized for a framing shop
- Thirty Years of Development – the current generation of a machine OMGA has refined since the 1990s
- Built in Italy – manufactured by DIERREGI S.r.l. under the OMGA brand, sold and serviced from South Bend, Indiana
