The Powermatic 31A combines a 6 x 48 inch belt and a 12 inch disc on one machine with a 1-1/2 HP 115/230V 1Ph motor and its own stand.
The belt runs at 2,410 SFPM over a platen and two aluminum drums, and the disc turns at 2,375 RPM. Each side has its own table, and dust is collected through a 4 inch outlet.
Belt That Goes Any Direction
The belt arm swings from horizontal to vertical and locks at 0, 45 and 90 degrees with an indexing pin, so you can surface flat stock, sand edges or work end grain without re-rigging.

Can the belt be used vertically and horizontally?
Yes. The belt arm locks at 0, 45 and 90 degrees, so it works horizontally, vertically or at an angle.
Is the stand included?
Yes. It ships with the stand and motor, a 60-grit belt and disc, both tables, a fence and a miter gauge.
What power does it need?
It comes pre-wired for 115V with a plug installed and can be rewired to 230V. Powermatic recommends a 30 A circuit at 115V or 20 A at 230V.
What warranty does it carry?
Powermatic covers it with its 5-year warranty (2 years for commercial or industrial use).

Original shipping isn't refundable unless the return is our error or a defect, and return shipping is paid by the customer.
