The Powermatic 54HH is a 6-inch jointer with 66 inches of table on dovetailed ways and a 1 HP TEFC motor that runs on 115V or 230V single phase. It ships pre-wired for 115V, so it plugs into a standard shop outlet.
The cutterhead turns at 6,000 RPM with 40 four-sided carbide inserts in 6 rows.
Helical Cutterhead
Each insert has four edges, and spares come in the box.
Fence and Stand
The 38-inch fence tilts 45 degrees either way with stops at -45, 45 and 90 degrees. The stand has a push-button switch that accepts a safety padlock (not included) to help prevent accidental starts.

Does it run on 115V?
Yes. It ships pre-wired for 115V. To run it on 230V, the motor leads are reconnected and the plug replaced, as shown in Powermatic’s manual.
How deep and wide can it cut?
Up to 1/8 inch deep and 6 inches wide per pass.
How long is the table?
66 inches of infeed and outfeed table on dovetailed ways.
What warranty does it carry?
