The Powermatic DDS-237 is a 37-inch dual drum sander with a 7-1/2 HP 230V 1Ph TEFC motor and two 6-inch drums.
Boards up to 5-1/4 inches thick ride on a conveyor belt over the table, with a two-speed forward/reverse feed of 8 and 12 SFPM.
Rough and Finish in One Pass
The front drum removes stock while the independently adjustable rear drum refines the surface, so you get flatter boards with fewer passes.

Powermatic drum sander questions
Why two drums?
The front drum (80 grit from the factory) removes stock and the rear drum (100 grit) refines the finish in the same pass. The rear drum adjusts independently.
What size boards will it take?
Up to 37 inches wide and 1/32 to 5-1/4 inches thick, with a 9-inch minimum length.
What dust collection does it need?
Two 4-inch ports and at least 1,200 CFM.
What warranty does it carry?
Powermatic covers it with its 5-year warranty (2 years for commercial or industrial use).

Original shipping isn't refundable unless the return is our error or a defect, and return shipping is paid by the customer.
