The Powermatic DS20 is a 20-inch disc sander with a 3 HP 460V 3Ph motor that drives the disc directly.

Its 27-1/2 x 10-1/2 inch table tilts 30 degrees up and 45 down for bevel sanding, a miter gauge handles angles, and a hand-pull brake stops the disc quickly.

Big Surface, Fast Changes

The extra-large disc handles wide stock and fast removal, and the guard pushes back for abrasive changes.

Powermatic disc sander questions

How big is the disc?

The disc is 20 inches across and runs at 1,720 RPM, driven straight off the motor.

Does it have a brake?

Yes. Pulling the brake handle presses a pad against the disc to stop it quickly.

Can it run in reverse?

Yes. The three-phase models have a forward/reverse switch, so you can sand on either side of the disc.

What voltage is it?

This is the 460V three-phase version. No plug is supplied.

What warranty does it carry?
