The Powermatic PM2700 is a floor-standing spindle shaper with a 5 HP 230V single-phase motor, a 30 x 40 inch table and two spindle speeds, 7,500 and 10,000 RPM, forward or reverse.
It comes with interchangeable 3/4 and 1-1/4 inch spindles, 4 inches of spindle travel with a digital height readout, and split fences with feather board hold-downs.
Accurate, Repeatable Height
The digital readout shows spindle height in inches or millimeters and zeroes out for incremental adjustments, so setups repeat.
Built for the Shop Floor
A retractable caster system extends so the shaper can be rolled into position.

What power does it need?
230V single phase on a 40 A circuit.
Which spindles come with it?
A 3/4 in. and a 1-1/4 in. interchangeable spindle. A 1 in. spindle and 1/4 in. and 1/2 in. router collets are available separately.
Can it run in reverse?
Yes. The spindle runs forward or reverse at 7,500 or 10,000 RPM.
Does it come with a plug?
No. Install a listed plug or hard-wire it with a disconnect near the operator.
What warranty does it carry?
Powermatic covers it with its 5-year warranty (2 years for commercial or industrial use).

Original shipping isn't refundable unless the return is our error or a defect, and return shipping is paid by the customer.
