The Powermatic WB-37 is a 37-inch production wide belt sander with three motors: a 20 HP sanding motor, a 1 HP variable-speed feed motor and a 1/4 HP table lift motor.
It sands stock 1/8 to 6 inches thick on a 37 x 75 inch belt, with pneumatic belt oscillation for even wear and a disc brake for fast stops.
Automatic Thicknessing
The LED controller with auto thicknesser reads the starting thickness and sets the table height for you, so you spend less time on trial passes.
Built for Production
Separate motors drive the sanding head, the conveyor feed and the table lift, and a single control panel with emergency stop and amp meter keeps everything within reach.

What thickness can it sand?
Stock from 1/8 to 6 inches thick, up to 37 inches wide, with a 12-inch minimum length.
Does it need compressed air?
Yes. Supply 75 to 80 PSI for the pneumatic belt oscillation and tracking.
What power does it need?
Three-phase power on a dedicated circuit; Powermatic calls for at least 100 A service. It ships wired for 230V and can be converted to 460V with two overload relays sold separately.
Which belts come with it?
One 100-grit and one 180-grit sanding belt.
What warranty does it carry?
Powermatic covers it with its 5-year warranty (2 years for commercial or industrial use).

Original shipping isn't refundable unless the return is our error or a defect, and return shipping is paid by the customer.
