The Wilton SHR (stock No. 28910) is a portable hydraulic shear for cutting strut channel and threaded rod. Its 30-ton cylinder completes a cut in about 3 seconds and connects through a quick coupler to any 10,000 PSI hydraulic power supply.
It cuts strut up to 12 gauge mild steel, including 1-5/8 x 1-5/8 in. deep and 1-5/8 x 13/16 in. shallow profiles with the standard blade set. Optional blade sets cover back-to-back strut, Cooper B-Line 4D21 and 4D22, and threaded rod from 1/4 in. to 5/8 in.
No Deburring, No Sparks
Shearing leaves clean, straight edges and skips the sparks, noise and cleanup of abrasive cut-off methods.
Moves With the Job
At 71.5 lb, the shear can be carried between work stations instead of sending stock to a fixed cutting area.

Wilton strut and threaded rod shear questions
What power does the SHR shear need?
It has no motor of its own. It runs from any 10,000 PSI hydraulic power supply through its quick coupler. Wilton's Power Pack No. 28990 (with 6 ft. hose) is sold separately, or choose Starter Kit No. 28920, which bundles the shear with a power pack.
Which blades come with it?
The standard blade set No. 28930, which cuts 1-5/8 x 1-5/8 in. and 13/16 x 1-5/8 in. strut. Other blade sets are sold separately.
Can it cut threaded rod?
Yes, with the optional threaded rod blade set No. 28933, which cuts 1/4-20, 3/8-16, 1/2-13 and 5/8-11 mild steel rod.
What is the warranty?
