We’re Here When You Need Us
Random cracking is what happens when control joints go in too late. A conventional wet saw cannot touch a slab until it has cured enough to take the weight and the water — by which time the slab has often already told you where it wanted to crack. An early entry saw cuts within roughly two hours of finishing, dry, on a slab that is still green, and puts the joint where you want it instead of where the concrete chooses.
The BTCS06EE is built around that job and nothing else. It weighs 40 kg — 88 lbs, which is light enough to lift onto a fresh slab without marking it, and it rides on non-marking polyurethane wheels for the same reason. It takes a 165 mm (6.5 in.) blade and cuts 30 mm (1.18 in.) deep — the shallow, early cut that relieves stress before it becomes a crack.
It is a dry-cut machine, so there is no water to manage on a green slab and no slurry to clean up afterwards. Dust is handled by an enclosed blade cover that keeps diffusion down, and the cover takes an optional vacuum port if you need to run to an extractor for indoor or spec work. Depth is set manually with a clear indicator, and the handle folds for transport.

Honest notes. Cutting depth: you will see 1.5 in. quoted for this saw by more than one US seller. Beton Trowel's own spec sheet and product page both say 30 mm, which is 1.18 in. — 1.5 in. appears to be a competing manufacturer's figure that has leaked into the dealer feeds. If your joint spec calls for a deeper cut, say so and we will point you at the right machine rather than sell you this one. Fuel tank capacity and blade shaft speed are not published by Beton Trowel and we will not invent them. Crated shipping weight is not published either.
What's Included
- BTCS06EE early entry concrete saw
- Honda GX120 engine, factory installed
- Enclosed blade cover
- Non-marking polyurethane wheels
- Operating and safety manual
A blade is not included, and on an early entry saw the blade is not a detail. Green-concrete cutting uses a specific blade and skid-plate combination matched to the aggregate and to how soon after the pour you are cutting. Tell us your aggregate and your timing when you order and we will quote the right blade with the saw. The vacuum port is a factory option and is also quoted on request.
Add To Your Machine
- Beton Trowel BTCS501 — the full-depth wet saw for cured slabs, asphalt and 7.3 in. cuts
- BravePro BRPS105H vibratory screed — the levelling step earlier in the same pour
- All concrete and masonry equipment
Ordering more than one machine? Put them on a single freight quote — one truck is materially cheaper than two.
Documents
Operation Video
Beton Trowel has not published video of this machine. We read their entire YouTube channel — all 55 videos — rather than relying on a search, and the only saw footage they have is of the BTCS501 and the CS500, both full-size wet saws that cut and behave nothing like an early entry machine. We would rather leave this section empty than show you a different machine and let you assume it is this one. If Beton Trowel publishes footage, it will appear here.
Shipping
This machine ships by freight, on a pallet. At 68 in. long it is beyond what any parcel carrier will accept, and Beton Trowel does not publish a crated weight for it — so rather than guess at a rate we quote it to your exact address and confirm with you before anything is charged. Tell us on the quote form whether the delivery site has a forklift or a loading dock, because that changes the rate more than the distance does.
