OMGA TRF 527 Double Mitre Saw
The TRF 527 is a double mitre saw for cutting glass beading strips and other materials, mitred or straight. The right head is fixed and the left head moves on ball bushings over hardened steel guides. Both heads have two fences at different levels so two strips are cut at once; the intermediate fence comes off for one piece of a larger section.
Two 90° pneumatic clamps, synchronized with the blade descent, hold the work, and the rotary table locks mechanically at 90° and 45° right and left. OMGA supplies two carbide-tipped 8.5 in. (220 mm) blades.

TRF 527: left head moved by hand wheel and toothed belt, length read on a mechanical display. TRF 527 VIS: the same with a digital read-out. TRF 527 NC: motorized transmission positioned from a 7 in. touch-screen controller; on request, an electronic measuring system with radio transmitter.

Is it for heavy stock?
No. Its cross cut is 2 5/32 in. at 90°. For larger stock see the TR 2A and TR 2B.
