Iron & Oak SMH2419 Skid Steer Log Splitter — 24-Ton, Quick-Attach

The Iron & Oak SMH2419 turns a skid steer you already own into a log splitter. It hangs on a universal quick-attach plate, plugs into the machine's auxiliary hydraulics with flat-face couplers, and is run entirely from the cab — no engine to maintain, no pull cord, no second machine sitting in the yard between jobs.

Because it runs off the host machine's hydraulics, splitting force scales with what the skid steer can deliver — up to 24 tons. The beam is industrial-grade I-beam rated for fully loaded continuous use, which is the spec that matters if this is going into a firewood operation rather than a weekend woodpile. It splits horizontally, and the skid steer's bucket does the lifting that otherwise breaks your back.

A welded safety step and a powder-coat finish round it out. For land-clearing and tree crews already running a skid steer on site, this is the cheapest way to add splitting capacity without adding another engine to the fleet.
